We are located in Central Montana which gives us the opportunity to be very available for all of the Production Sales in the North West and Midwest. We are at billings livestock sale every month. We have trips that run east and west and north and south. We can accommodate all your horses’ needs big or small young or old.  We take every horse on an individual bases. We transport according to the horse or horses. If they need rest we rest. If they are doing well we press on. The horses are our number one concern. We try and stick to schedule but due to the fact that we are hauling 10,000 miles a month there can be delays.

Tom and Jennifer have been together 5 years and have successfully run Shields Family Hauling for this period. Previously we worked for our family transporting horses. Tom will taking on some horses for training.  He would like to go back to training Performance Horses. He was raised riding world class horses for his Grandpa Dean Ames and will be going back to ridding more. Jennifer is a nutritional consultant for Dynamite and Waiora Products. She is also a certified Acuscope/ Myoscope Therapist for animals.  She is available to help with booking your transports and to help with any nutritional concerns.

 Brody is our son, and it is our main goal in life for him to ride and ranch for a living with his family. We want to instill a good work ethic and provide a quality of life you can’t find everywhere.

 Tom grew up riding, roping, and cowboying. Tom is experienced with riding and shoeing problem horses. Jennifer has been riding and showing western horses for twenty years. Due to the lifelong passion for horses our fit has been perfect. Our family feels that our lifestyle is dwindling and we hope that our son can carry on our morals and values.
